Friends of St. Denys
St. Denys is one of York's most precious and best loved medieval churches. However, like most ancient churches it needs help to make sure it is around for future generations to enjoy. Following in the footsteps of York Minster, in 2016 we decided to create a 'Friends' scheme. The idea behind this initiative is to form a community of people who care about the life and heritage of one of York's most precious medieval churches. To date we have gathered over 200 friends including the Archbishop of York!
Some Friends of St. D's
Friends are kept up-to-date with news of activities, forthcoming events and the progress we are making in our fundraising bid through quarterly newsletters and occassional emails. We value our friends very much and are delighted that in just under a year we have already made friends from all over the world, captivated by the quiet, ancient beauty of St. Denys.
Becoming a friend of St. Denys is a great way to support the upkeep of an invaluable piece of heritage and keep up with all the latest developments. To sign up please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
