Glee! On the 15th June, St. D's hosted the Glee singers from the University of York. The concerted was themed around 'True Colours', an included songs such as, 'Josephs' Coat of Many Colours', 'Blackbird', and 'Black and Red' from Les Mis.

Great News! Marie Taylor, who many of our regular congregation will know as the chairperson for the York Branch of the Wrens, has been awarded a British Empire Medal. Well done Marie Taylor BEM! Read more about Marie and other York heroes here.

Book Group: On the 29th June the St. D's book group will be discussing the second half of John Pritchard's 'Something More' (so rich a text that it needs two weeks!). It doesn't matter if you haven't read the first half as the chapters all stand alone: don't believe me? Read it! Do come along. Find out more here.

Tusen Takk!: A big thank you from all of us at St. D's to the visiting Norweigan Choir who joined us for our service on Sunday and delighted us with an impromptu sing along afterwards.

Great News! Jose Knowles has been accepted to train as a reader in the Church of England! We are all so happy and proud! Well done Jose!!! 

Success! The first of our talks was a great success. Many thanks to Dr. Charles Kightly for a fascinating lecture on the history of St Denys. And we raised over £150.00 to save our north aisle!
